Book an appointment online

Patients are able to register for online access to book appointments and view their summary medical record. We are able to offer some appointments, which can be booked online using our online system. You can do this via the NHS AppNHS website, or other GP online services and apps.

How to book an appointment

Once you have completed the registration for online access, follow the on screen instructions. You will have access to a limited number of appointments which can be pre-booked.

If you wish to book an appointment for your child who is under 16, please do the following. The child MUST be registered with this practice. Log on to the website as yourself. Pick the appointment time, and in the "enter reason for appointment" field, type in the child's name and date of birth.

The system will also allow you to cancel an internet appointment you have made should it no longer be necessary.

What to do if you need to change your access/pin number

If you forget your access or pin number or you think that someone else knows this number, you will need to come to the surgery in person with proof of your identity which shows the address that we have you registered at. We will then cancel your existing registration and re-issue you with a new document. You will then have to re-register your details again on the website.

Types of appointments

Our care co-ordinators will help to navigate your request to the most appropriate service.

Routine appointments

We offer routine appointments with our practice clinicians up to 2 weeks in advance.

Urgent appointments

If your appointment is urgent, we will arrange for a practice clinician to see you on the same day.

You can also call NHS 111 for general medical advice.

Urgent Dental Care

Our surgery does not have a dentist on site.  If you have an infection in your mouth following a tooth extraction, toothache, broken teeth or a problem with dentures please contact a dentist.  If you are not currently registered with a dentist please call 111 and they will be able to advise you of the nearest dental practice.

You can also check the NHS website (www.nhs.uk) for details of all local dental services.
