Community Pharmacist Consultation Service
When you contact our practice you may be offered a booked consultation with an experienced local pharmacist who will be able to offer you same day advice and, if necessary, a prescription for certain conditions, such as simple urinary infections, impetigo, sore throat and eye infections. Should the patient need to be escalated or referred to an alternative service, the pharmacist can arrange this.
Almost all pharmacies now offer the Pharmacy First service, giving advice and, if needed, NHS medicines to treat seven common health conditions – and all without the need for a GP appointment.

* Distance selling pharmacies will not complete consultations for acute otitis media.
