Get test results
You can get your test results online without having to visit the surgery.
Most patients are now able to review test results (blood, urine, smears) on your medical record via your online account (NHS App, NHS website, or other GP online services and apps).
This means you no longer need to call the practice for these results, if you still need to discuss results with a clinician please contact the practice to book an appointment,allowing a week for results to come back.
If the clinician decides that your test result needs further action then you may receive information via a text message or the reception team will contact you to give you this information.
Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. This means that we can only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given permission or are not capable of understanding them.
How to get test results
You can log into your NHS App to get your test results.
If you haven’t registered yet, you can use the link below to download the NHS App.
You can also call reception between 11am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
How long does it take to get my test results?
When you attend a test of any kind, you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Blood test, Urine and swab results usually take five working days to get back, X-Ray and Ultrasound can take at least two weeks. All results are checked by a clinician.
