Nurses
Lead Practice Nurse Lucy Shearer
Provides services including: Coil and implant fitting and contraceptive advice, Chronic disease management, Cervical smears, Pill checks, Phlebotomy (taking blood), Wound care, Suture removals, ECGs, Health checks, Vaccinations, Spirometry and Dopplers.
Practice Nurse Becky Jarvis
Offers clinics for review and management of CHD, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Dementia, CKD, childhood & adult immunisations and vaccinations and epilepsy reviews.
Practice Nurse Claire Richmond
Provides services including: phlebotomy (taking blood), wound dressing, and suture removals, health checks, Child Immunisation, Adult Vaccinations, ECGs and chronic disease management. Claire has a particular interest in the management of respiratory conditions such as asthma and copd.
Practice Nurse Abi Stubbs
Provides services including: Phlebotomy, ECG, Wound dressings and Suture removal, Chronic disease management (hypertension), child and adult immunisations, cervical screening and contraception reviews.

Practice Paramedic Pip Rogers

Pip is our paramedic and an independent prescriber. He worked with the Ambulance service for 20 years before coming to our practice. He deals with many minor ailments, and you may get an appointment with Pip rather than a Doctor. He will perform thorough examination and assessment of your problem, prescribe medication if required and provide relevant advice and reassurance.
Practice Pharmacist Caroline Riddle
Caroline is an experienced clinical pharmacist and independent prescriber, having worked for many years in the acute hospital setting and in teaching roles within Universities. Her clinical experience is also supported by a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice. At the Practice she takes a lead on all medication related issues and carries out Structured Medication Reviews with patients, reconciles medications from hospital discharges and clinic letters, as well as answering any medication related queries. Caroline works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Practice Pharmacist Grace Chui
Grace Chui is one of our practice pharmacists. Prior to joining Beechwood, she has many years of experience working as a community pharmacist. At Beechwood, her role includes carrying out structured medication reviews with patients and review of medications following hospital admissions. Grace works alongside the GP to carry out regular medication safety audits. Grace can be found at the practice on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
