At the practice. Other team members include Jane West, our practice secretary, who can be contacted on 0117 9082355 for enquiries regarding referrals made by your GP to specialist care and the patient choose & book service. Caroline, Tia, Molly, Jayne, Louisa, Libby, Alison, Lisa and Tom carry out tasks such as patient registrations, summarising of medical records, scanning & coding of information, patient recall programmes and management of requests for access to medical records.

oversees a team of 11 part time receptionists and prescribing clerks.  Our reception office is a very busy environment and the staff at the practice work hard to deliver a personal service and to ensure that our patients are well cared for.  The receptionists have a challenging job to carry out so please be patient with them, they are there to help you and work to specific protocols laid out by the practice management. 

If you wish to speak in private please mention this to the receptionist as there is a designated room just off of the main reception area. All our staff are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors. 

Other

CCG Pharmacist

Our Clinical Commissioning Group employed Pharmacist, Rebecca Thorne, advises us on all aspects of prescribing within the practice. This includes providing information and clinical advice on medicines, making recommendations on cost effectiveness, reviewing individual patient's medication and other prescribing projects. Rebecca works with patients and all members of the primary healthcare team and is in the practice every Thursday. Any change she suggests to individual medication regimes is with the full knowledge and agreement of the doctors.
